Attribute: Scientific Mediator and Data & AI Project Manager at the Maison de l’Intelligence Artificielle

Alexandre Genette is a graduate in chemistry and in Data Science and AI, left pharmaceutical research after 15 years to join the Maison de l'Intelligence Artificielle as a Scientific Mediator and Data & AI Project Manager. For the past 4 years, he has been running workshops and conferences to help people in the Alpes-Maritimes (South of France) get to grips with the challenges of AI.
Alexandre Genette will answer questions to help us solve problems we might face within our media companies. After a short introduction to AI and its origins, he will explain what makes the difference between ‘classic’ AI and generative AI, which requires a prompt, and how LLMs (Large Language Models) and foundation models such as chatGPT/Gemini/llama work.
